Freshers' 2010
Are you starting on your teacher training course this September?
Visit our stall at Freshers' Fair and register for free student membership of the NUT. You will receive a free ‘Toolkit for Trainee Teachers', which is packed with resources to give you a head start in your studies.
What's on offer
The NUT has joined forces with Inclusive Behaviour Publications to give you The Interactive Guide to Behaviour Management, a CD-Rom for trainee teachers, free with this year's Toolkit.
"The Interactive Guide to Behaviour Management is written for teachers, by teachers, and packed full of hints, tips and key strategies for managing classroom behaviour.
The CD-Rom normally retails for £17.99. It includes:
- A video room for you to listen to other teachers talking
- Excellent advice from experienced practitioners
- Resources to print off and use in the classroom
You'll also get the 10/11 Student NUT Diary in your Toolkit. It has a comprehensive guide to your rights during your studies and useful contacts you might need. It also includes advice and guidance on a wide range of subjects and will help you organise your time at University.
The NUT 10/11 handy wall planner is in there too, to allow you to look at your schedule for the year at a glance.
You can pick up your Toolkit by joining the National Union of Teachers at any of our stalls or events during September and October. Check when we'll be visiting you on our events calendar. If you are unable to visit us when we are at your University, join online here and we will send a Toolkit out to you. But hurry, as stocks are limited!
