Hello everyone, welcome to the new NUT Student Centre!
The Student Centre is here to provide you with help and support as you work towards Qualified Teacher Status, as well as giving you the opportunity to get involved and run events and campaigns at your University.
We've made it easier for you to meet your Union, by giving you a calendar of our events and more ways of getting in touch - if you have any comments or questions, do not hesitate to ask.
For those of you who are members of a NUT Society at University, we've got a whole section dedicated to your activities and events - including 7 new Module Socials that you can use to organise events quickly and easily. For those of you who do not have a NUT Society, we've revamped all the information you need to set one up.
The new Student Centre still houses expert guidance from the NUT on all the issues facing Student Teachers - from Law, to finance, to finding that first job! Over the next few months this section of the website will be growing to cover even more topics.
We want to know what you think, so please take part in the monthly polls and surveys that will be posted here, and this website is just for you, so if there is anything you would like to see here, please let us know!
Whether you're just starting your first year or nearly qualified, I hope this site will be able to support you in your studies and into your future career. I wish you luck for September and hope to meet many of you at the Freshers events around the country in the coming weeks!
